If a friend told me they were going blind it wouldn't matter its the same person I might need to help them with some things because they cant see. I would never want them to feel different then any other friend because they aren't. I have had this to happen to me I have a friend who can no longer see because he fell while playing hockey and got hit in the face with a stick that went through his eye and hit his brain. This means I understand how hard it can be to be friends with someone who is blind but I could never imagine how hard it would be to be blind myself.   

I think it is absolutely horrible that greed overpowers the life of a human being that people are willing to sell a child who has a long life ahead of them these kind of people should not be out on our streets in our neighbor hood. Anyone who can value money over a human being and sell them illegally then you should be spending your life behind bars in my opinion that is taking away a kids life that is just as bad as murder where you take away someone's life.

I liked it because it made me think how august felt while going through grade 5. I felt very bad for august when kids picked in him for who he is. I would rate this book 9/10.

My poem ideas was shoes and explain walking to school and what happens, I also thought of lacrosse because it is a game i have a  passion for, another good idea i had was to do a airplane and my felling on them 

To help out more around the house I will make sure all my stuff is clean and in the wash or in the hamper. I will also be more willing to help when someone ask me instead of saying no thanks or i'm busy 

1. I will read once or twice a week for 20 minutes before bed I will do this by stating tonight and including my parents in on this goal to help remind me
2. Help out more around the house without being asked to or getting a reward.

Today was the last day off of school although the vacation time was fun and a good time to see family and friends it will be good to come back. The next vacation will not be until Spring break so Today I put in as much stuff as possible.
We went to the mall to buy me some new shoes from West 49 to wear as indor shoes.

New Years started with the banging of pots and pans to welcome the coming of the New Year. The next New Years event was a dinner of steak and veggies with the family to wish each other happy things to come in the New Year. New years is always a time that Is something to look forward to each year even if you don't set off fire works or bang pots and pans it is the coming of a new year a year that will bring good times and bad times it will bring happines and sadness but t will also bring time to spend with f

 

During this chapter i was introduced to Summer for the first time she is a nice girl who likes August for who he is and not what he looks like. August has told Summer that he was bullied by Jack Will and some other kids. Since Summer and August were working on the Egypt project so August went to her house for the first time Summer's mom a=had not been prepared when she saw august face. I found this a good chapter because August found someone to be a friend
